“Change your breathing. Change your life.” is Palo Alto Breathing Center’s maxim. Founder and principal clinician Ann Pianetta is a Registered Breathing Educator in the Buteyko Breathing Technique as well as a Certified Medical Hypnotherapist. Her Breathing Connection Program integrates education, proper breathing techniques and guided visualization. The program has shown to help people with asthma, hay fever, sinusitis, snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, panic attacks and sports performance issues.
A. Virga Design was brought in to collaborate with Ms. Pianetta and her designer to develop a website for the Center. They wanted a site that Ann could maintain herself and would be scalable to accommodate an online store should she decide to sell some products in the future.
We successfully manipulated a premium WordPress theme to match the designer’s vision.
We suggested using a WordPress theme that would support WooCommerce (an e-commerce plug-in that integrates with WordPress platform), be flexible enough to adapt to the designer’s creativity, as well as provide Ann with the self-managed content updating she desired. With some major CSS customization and a handful of plugins, we successfully manipulated a premium WordPress theme to match the designer’s vision.
After a couple of months into development, the designer entrusted us to finish the website. Since its launch, A Virga Design has been a source of technical support for Palo Alto Breathing Center.
